(Octopus) How do I make a payment?

  • When you are done shopping using buy online or shopping cart, and are ready to checkout, please select a payment method with Octopus.
  • Then you will be guided to choose payment using NFC mobile device or Octopus PC Reader.
  • NFC mobile devices:
    • If you choose an NFC mobile device, please open the Octopus app, Scan the QR Code or enter the payment code in the app.
    • Please confirm the payment amount, and click agree to confirm.
    • Please place the Octopus within the coverage area of ​​your phone’s NFC sensor.
    • After the sensoring process is completed, it will display a description of the payment transaction being processed.
    • The result of the transaction will be displayed on both the mobile phone and the webpage.
  • Payment with Octopus PC Reader:
    • If you choose to pay with Octopus PC Reader, please read Octopus online payment service information, then click “Accept”.
    • Please enter the last 3 digits of your Octopus card number.
    • Please place the Octopus in the sensor area of ​​the PC Reader.
    • After the sensoring process is completed, it will display a description of the payment transaction being processed.
    • The webpage will display the result of the transaction.
